Absolutely pristine, but I was shocked that nobody offered a complimentary gesture for the Wi-Fi troubles I faced. The lack of variety in recreational options. I almost gave a good review, but being treated like just another guest? Unacceptable. Would have preferred some pizzazz, to say the least.

Super clean accommodations with a fine view with bees and butterflies in lavender right outside the window. Enjoying a dedicated living room.
The hotel, while visually excellent, could use more variety in its recreational offerings. Limited communal spaces. Some rooms might lack direct sunlight, affecting the overall ambiance.

Couple's cozy getaway
We were treated to delicious homemade brownies in our room, which just,, and the breakfast options were excellent, it was tough to pick just one! The homemade Lemon Curd during breakfast was a revelation, I mean who doesn't love a little taste explosion in the morning?
Sure it wasn't exactly budget friendly,, but you know what? Worth every penny!

We enjoyed lovely homemade breakfast every morning and cute garden vibes. Attended free lunchtime performances, a blast. A quick trip to Bolton Abbey added some adventure. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
Only downside was that our room wasn't ready right on time, which caused a bit of a wait before we could settle in.

We felt so at home with the warm welcoming and delicious homemade treats enjoyed every morning. The cozy garden was perfect for relaxing and unwinding under the sun. The only thing was that some areas could use a little sprucing up, but it didn’t take away from our great stay! 😊

Had a blast with friends! We explored a local concert series and visited Bolton Abbey, fine. The homemade breakfast was great, and the cozy garden provided a lovely spot to unwind. The host was engaging. Definitely a place I'd recommend.
The only downside was that parking was quite tricky, especially during busy times.

Cozy vibes and tasty treats
I loved the comfy lounge where I could sip tea and munch on cakes after exploring. The breakfast included homemade stuff like preserves with fresh bread, yum! Just a heads up, parking could get tricky during busy times.

Super clean accommodation with a fine view of lavender gardens really enhanced the experience. Enjoying high-quality homemade dishes for breakfast each morning added a good touch to our stay. The only detractors were the tricky parking situation, the limited recreational options, and a bit of wait time for room readiness upon arrival. Despite these, the atmosphere was cute and calming were nice.

Exceptional in everything - Callender House is a gem of a find. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly hosts, Carol and Keith. They made us feel right at home and their attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were spotlessly clean, complete with bath robes and slippers. And the view from our window was simply amazing. The location of this hotel is ideal - nestled in a peaceful village with easy access to the surrounding area. We also loved the delicious Yorkshire breakfast, it really set us up for the day. We couldn't have asked for more from our stay at this hotel.
All was perfect.
